your assistance to pack the Food Bank shelves in Sisters and Redmond.

As part of “Celebrate National Art
and Framing Month” at High Desert Gallery we would love for you to
bring in a can of food or three and help out this important Can Food
Drive. The need is great. Can you please help out?
Just One Can Details:
What: Can Food drive for Sisters' Kiwanis Club and Redmond's Neighbor Impact Food Banks
When: October 1 through October 31, 2008
Why: To help fill the need of many local folks in Redmond and Sisters.
How: Drop off a can (or three) of food at either High Desert Gallery location in downtown Sisters and Redmond. High Desert Gallery will match your donation to the Food Banks up to 250 cans per gallery. Complete an entry form for EACH can donated and enter to win one of two $150 Custom Framing gift certificates. On November 1, 2008 each gallery will draw from the entries and the lucky winner from each High Desert Gallery location will win a gift certificate. How fun and what a deal. No purchase is required to enter the drawing.

Please Bring your "can" and your cans to High Desert Gallery and we'll provide you an entry form to enter in the drawing for the $150 Custom Framing Gift Certificate. One can, one entry. Two cans, two entries. We think you can get the picture. High Desert Gallery will collectively match your donation can for can up to 250 cans per location. That's 500 cans for you math wizards! One hundred percent of all donated and matched cans will be donated to the Sisters Kiwanis Club and Redmond's Neighbor Impact to be distributed to the Sisters and Redmond communities.
I have a framing project that I would like you to take a look at: Bring it on in and a can (or three) during October and we'll provide you 10 entry forms (Yes, 10 – this is not a typo) to win the $150 Custom Framing Gift Certificate. What a deal!
What type of Can Food is needed?
Here are some great donation ideas:
canned and boxed meals (i.e., soup, chili, stew, macaroni and cheese)
peanut butter, canned or dried beans and peas (i.e., black, pinto, lentils)
canned fruits and/or 100 percent fruit juice (canned, plastic or boxed)
Please remember no:
rusty or unlabeled cans
perishable items
homemade items
noncommercial canned or packaged items
alcoholic beverages, mixes or soda
open or used items
The Fine Print: High Desert Gallery's Just One Can, Can Food Drive runs through October 31, 2008 at close of business (that means 6pm for you timely folks). To be eligible for the $150 Custom Framing Gift Certificate one original entry form per can of food donated must be completed in its entirety. The drawing for each $150 Custom Framing Gift Certificate (one $150 certificate per gallery in Redmond and Sisters) will be held on November 1, 2008 at high noon and winners will be notified by phone and/or mail. You may donate as much canned food as you like and for each can of food donated you will receive one original entry form to complete and enter. High Desert Gallery reserves the right to reject Food types not listed above or damaged or open cans. You need not be present to win. Each can of food donated to the Just One Can, Can Food Drive will be matched by one can of food by High Desert Gallery up to 250 cans per gallery location. All food cans collected and matched by High Desert Gallery will be donated to the Sisters Kiwanis Club Food Bank and Redmond Neighbor Impact for distribution in Sisters and Redmond respectfully. You are not required or obligated to purchase to enter the drawing. Individuals participating in a frame design consultation and /or purchasing custom framing at High Desert Gallery in the month of October 2008 will automatically receive 10 entry forms to complete and enter. By entering the drawing you allow High Desert Gallery the right to use the information you share with us to market custom framing and art gallery services to you. Your email (unless specifically requested not) will be subscribed to the High Desert Gallery blog. You may request us to not mail or email you at any time and you may unsubscribe at anytime.
