"My Ruff Report" written by Mare Shey and illustrated by regionally known artist Glen Corbett is a wonderful book to record important information to share with others while deepening your canine awareness. The book was created as a written journal, asking questions to assist in exploring a deeper understanding of your dog's personality, well-being, and as a guide to provide your friends and dog's caretakers with a fast and easy way to get to know the ins and outs of the complexity of your best friend, without having lived with them.
Mare Shey, owner and operator of Dancin' Woofs Compassionate Dog Training and Daycare. Mare Shey has a B.A. in Education majoring in Outdoor Adventure Education, with a concentration in adventure-based counseling and group facilitation. Glen Corbett, an award winning painter, tapestry weaver and print maker makes Central Oregon her home. Glen’s work is found in private and corporate collections worldwide including AJ Heinz, State of Hawaii, Walsh, Walsh, & Foster, Washington Mutual Savings Bank, Black Butte Ranch, Brooks Resources, Fred Meyer Inc. and many more. "Art captures a very present moment, sometimes evocative of the past or predictive of the future – but at best taps a timeless core/chord." In her “spare time” she tends the forest service lands around Sisters, Oregon while enjoying the solitude atop Black Butte as a seasonal Fire Lookout. High Desert Gallery is honored to represent Glen Corbett exclusively in Central Oregon.
